Process Performance Consultant (Cleveland, OH)

Field based individual that represents the voice and face of MPI to dealership customers.  Main job focus: driving performance improvement within inspection process resulting in increased customer satisfaction and revenue.


Qualifications/Skills:
• 5+ years of dealership industry experience
• 3+ years of dealership consulting experience
• Knowledge of Dealership Fixed Operations Financial Performance and Objectives. 
• Self-motivated with little management involvement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong phone communication skills; good command of the English language
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; able to interface comfortably and effectively with all levels of dealership management
• Ability to interpret analytical data and share that information clearly with dealership personnel; ability to translate data into process improvement  opportunities
•  Professional appearance a necessity
• Consultative selling experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player; able to work effectively with other departments within MPi
• Bachelor degree or above preferred
Job functions/activities:
• Primary customer contact using consultative approach 
o Main customer contact  via monthly phone calls and as-needed  personal dealership visits
o Focused on improvement areas of the inspection process
• Proactive outbound communication to clients
o Scheduled and as-needed
o Phone conversation and e-mail follow-up
• Reviewing analyses provided by ADMs
o Present improvement opportunities to customers
o Implement and manage customers’ action plans
• Visit dealerships as a follow-up to routine phone contacts
o Provide added in-dealership support to drive improvement in their inspection process
o Establish and maintain a solid business relationship with dealership personnel
• Interface with other MPi departments 
• Strong product knowledge  – understands existing product offering and it’s application within the dealership environment
o Stays current with product enhancements
o Able to effectively communicate product features to the customer 
• Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 40%
